Deltec passes ISSS Round Robin test

The International Association for Sport Surface Sciences (ISSS) has organized a Round Robin test in the first quarter of 2010. The purpose of the programme was to provide genuine, impartial evidence of the precision and reliability of test methods and the variability between different test equipment. The test was managed by the Austrian institute 'ofi' and the test programme contained Force Reduction, Vertical Deformation and Vertical Ball Rebound (football, basketball, hockey) measurements on synthetic and artificial turf surfaces. All tests were based on the existing EN standards. "Attending a Round Robin test is one of Deltec's measures to secure that we supply our customers with reliable test equipment" says Rudi Eijkemans Quality Manager at Deltec. "It is crucial to know that we measure what we have to measure." Recently the outcome was published by the ISSS and ofi. Deltec scored a 'good performance' or a 'very good performance' on all relevant samples and tests. "This excellent score is a result of extensive experience gathered over the years and very good news for all our customers".
