TÜV SÜD Singapore tests basketball flooring

Singapore based TÜV SÜD Germany daughter TÜV SÜD PSB Pte Ltd started a extensive project for testing basketball floorings, in the laboratory as well as on site. For performing these tests Deltec supplied TÜV SÜD Singapore with an Artificial Athlete and Vertical Ball Rebound Tester. For future purposes TÜV SÜD Singapore decided to acquire a 5A Impact Tester. This 5A combines the currently prescribed Artificial Athlete (2A) test device with an Advanced Artificial Athlete (3A). The 3A measurements are based on an accelerometer and is considered as the future successor for the 2A.
