Complete test set for IPT Brazil

The São Paulo based Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas (IPT) made a strategic choice to extend its services by establishing a laboratory for artificial turf and sports flooring testing. The rapidly growing Brazilian market asked for a local test institute to support quality monitoring. Deltec was selected to supply IPT with a complete test set. Early October a 2-day training was held for knowledge transfer to IPT’s people. IPT is one of the largest Brazilian research institutes. With this investment IPT is also the first professional and independent South American based laboratory for artificial turf and sports flooring testing at this large scale. Richard Pahl the laboratory chief and his people see a large and growing potential in the market for this type of testing and research.
